The Kalavassos Area    
  Kalavassos village, nestling on a slope of the Vassilikos river valley, lies three km from the Southern Cyprus sea-coast and a 30 minutes' drive from Nicosia, Limassol or Larnaca international airport. Beaches at Zygi, Governor's beach and at St. George Alamanos area. Trails for biking in the Troodos Mountains start outside the village. Three world class golf courses within an hour's drive. The surrounding area is a treasury of European history and culture:

Walking in the river canyon on the Troodos Mountains where the Governor’s House is built by the poet. Picnic at the Caledonia Falls.

Visit to Kalavasos Tenta Walk on the Amathus Acropolis to see the Temple of the Great Goddess.
Visit the Holy Cross Mountain Monastery and have a picnic stop at the St. George Alamanos.
